Code & Infra by Roberto Scudeller

About

Hey there! Welcome to my corner of the internet.

I’m a longtime Systems Engineering guy who made the natural progression through the worlds of DevOps, SRE, and DevSecOps. Over the years, I’ve developed a bit of a “T-shaped” approach to tech: I love keeping a massive, holistic view of infrastructure architecture, but I’m happiest when I’m diving deep into the weeds to solve complex, high-stakes engineering problems.

If it involves building platforms, scaling infrastructure, or securing cloud-native ecosystems, I’ve probably broken it—and figured out how to fix it—at some point.

Outside of my day-to-day engineering work, I love contributing to open-source tools and tinkering with cloud-native security experiments. I started this blog as a digital notebook to share practical guides, hard-learned lessons, and architectural deep dives without the corporate fluff or marketing spin.

What you’ll find me writing about here:

  • Go & Python: Writing robust automation, custom controllers, and tooling that makes infrastructure manageable.
  • Kubernetes & Platforms: Performance tuning, deep observability, and cluster survival tactics at scale.
  • Cloud & Supply Chain Security: Hardening environments, zero-trust architectures, and signature validation without making life miserable for developers.

If you’re into practical, real-world infrastructure engineering, you’ll feel right at home here. Thanks for stopping by!
